Videos won't load or the Live tab is blank
Missing videos, slow or stalling playback, or a blank Live tab. Start by unplugging the Hub.
If any of these happen, the problem is in the Hub itself:
Videos are missing from your folders in the Browse tab.
The Live tab is completely blank.
Videos load very slowly or stall partway through.
Before anything else, make sure your iPad is on the Hub's WiFi network (its name starts with SwimClips). If it's on the facility's WiFi, see No cameras showing up instead.
Step 1: Unplug the Hub and plug it back in
Unplug the Hub from the wall, wait a few seconds, then plug it back in. When its WiFi network shows up on your iPad again, open the app and check.
Heads up: the Hub has to lose power completely. Restarting it any other way won't fix this.
Step 2: Check the cable and SD card inside the Hub
Still happening? Check two connections on the Hub's computer, a small Raspberry Pi board inside the case.
Unplug the Hub from the wall.
Open the lid, away from the water.
Ethernet cable: find the cable plugged into the Raspberry Pi. If it's loose, push it all the way in.
SD card: make sure the card is pushed fully into its slot on the Raspberry Pi.
Close the lid and plug the Hub back in.
Heads up: never unplug the Raspberry Pi's ethernet cable while the Hub has power.
